Help keep your account secure by following these best practices:

FindMentors uses secure authentication and continuously monitors for unusual account activity.
Mentor Verification
To help build trust within the community, FindMentors may verify mentor identities and professional profiles.
Verified mentors may receive a verification badge indicating additional review has been completed.
Verification does not guarantee expertise or outcomes but helps users identify authentic profiles.
Safe Payments
All subscriptions and service payments are securely processed through trusted third-party payment providers.
For your protection:
- Never send payments outside of FindMentors.
- Never share financial information through direct messages.
- Report any requests for off-platform payments.
Using FindMentors' payment system helps protect both mentors and mentees.
Professional Communication
FindMentors is designed for professional learning and mentorship.
We encourage users to:
- Be respectful and courteous.
- Keep conversations constructive.
- Respect personal boundaries.
- Communicate honestly and professionally.
Harassment, discrimination, threats, spam, or abusive behavior are not tolerated.
Reporting Users or Content
If you encounter behavior that violates our Community Guidelines, you can report:
- Harassment or bullying
- Fake mentor profiles
- Fraud or scams
- Spam
- Inappropriate content
- Copyright violations
- Safety concerns
Every report is reviewed by our moderation team.
Protect Your Privacy
Never share sensitive personal information through messages or public posts, including:
- Passwords
- Government identification numbers
- Banking information
- Credit card details
- Social Security numbers
- Other confidential personal information
Only share information necessary for your mentorship experience.
Intellectual Property
Respect the work of others.
Do not upload or distribute content that you do not own or have permission to share.
Mentors retain ownership of the original content they create on FindMentors.
Our Moderation Process
Our moderation team reviews reports and may take action when content or behavior violates our policies.
Actions may include:
- Removing content
- Issuing warnings
- Temporarily restricting accounts
- Suspending accounts
- Permanently removing users from the platform
The action taken depends on the severity and frequency of the violation.
Emergency Situations
FindMentors is not an emergency service.
If you believe you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services immediately before contacting FindMentors.
